In redesigning and extending this terrace property in Crouch End, we reconfigured the ground floor and extended the house to create open-plan family living, dining and kitchen areas that open out on to the south facing garden.  

   

The contemporary residential extension has been designed with a double-hipped roof to provide vertical height inside the kitchen / dining areas, whilst two triangular shaped rooflights bring in light and solar gain.  The design of the bespoke, plywood kitchen features door cupboards painted light green and door handles cut out and left as natural ply. These contrast well with the kitchen island and shelving which have been left as natural ply.
