New Barnes
Complete remodelling and extension

Designed and built in the 1960s, the house in New Barnes was very much typical of the period. Having lain untouched for many years,  the new owners wished to extend and remodel the house for contemporary living whilst staying true to the original mid-century modern aesthetic.

Due to its age and condition, the house required complete

refurbishment.  Remodelling the ground floor has given our client much needed storage and flexible, free flowing spaces, whilst a two storey side extension forms the new kitchen diner. Upstairs, the first floor has been reconfigured to provide a larger family bathroom and ensuite to the front bedroom, and a new master bedroom with ensuite is housed in the new extension.

Externally, insulated render and green zinc have been used to replace the original cladding.
